Why did my position close?
A position can close without you tapping Close for one of a few reasons, and your history shows which one.
Follow these steps
- Open your profile, tap Closed, then Perps. Each row shows how the position ended and its result.
- Did the price reach the Liquidation price? Then the exchange closed it, and the margin in it is lost.
- Set a Stop Loss or Take Profit? When the price reached it, the position closed. With notifications on, an alert says which.
- Asked your agent for a stop or a take profit earlier? It ran when the price got there. Waiting in the Agent tab lists the ones still set.
- Point at your picture at the top right to open the account menu.
- Click Activity. Trades placed through your agent carry an agent tag.
- Price reached the Liq. price? The exchange closed it and the margin is lost. Trade history under the market's chart lists every fill.
- Set a Stop Loss or Take Profit? When the price reached it, the position closed.
- Asked your agent for a stop or a take profit earlier? It ran when the price got there. Waiting on the Agent page lists the ones still set.
“Why did my BTC position close?”
Your agent reads your trade history and tells you when it closed and at what price.
If it didn't work
- Switching your agent off or removing the trading permission doesn't close any position.
- A prediction closes when its market ends. See A round has no result yet.
- Think it closed by mistake? Tell your agent the market and the time. With its switch on, it can pass it to the team.
